Summer Outdoor Program presented by State Park staff
and based out of Point Lobos State Natural Reserve.

Kids 9-15 years old will have the opportunity to have fun
and enjoy the outdoors in California State Parks.

Summer 2010 Dates

Session 1 June 14 thru June 25

Session 2 - July 5 thru July 16

* Meet new people and make lasting friendships
* Have fun and be fit in the outdoors
* Go hiking to places you’ve never been
* Explore the world of undersea life, birds and mammals
* Find your way with map and compass orienteering
* Take part in nature competitions
* Build sand castles
* Discover the Rumsien; the first people to live here
* Plant trees, and participate in resource projects
* Be outside - make a difference
