Metamorphosis

Metamorphic transitions a shell is left to find-
Furry crawly creature eating all day long-
Wings are what he's eating for to fly away so high-
And will the crawly creature Know the difference
when he's flown above-
Freedom is in the air but food is on the ground-
One trades food for freedom to fly the sky above-
Defy the law of gravity to mate and fly transformed-
But when one transitions to flying high-
Metamorphosis finds death above.....
